Our Care Services

Independent Living
Independent Living is for the senior who wants to maintain a rich and rewarding life, without the responsibilities of running a household. At Heartlands Senior Living Village of Ellicott City, you are given a maintenance-free lifestyle with options: choice of floor plans, restaurant-style dining, housekeeping services, exercise and wellness programs, and much more.

Our retirement community is an ideal setting for active seniors who want to focus on the things most enjoyed in life, but yet who also want to have assistance available, should it be needed.

Assisted Living

Respite Stays
We offer short-term stays for seniors in the local area who need care after a hospital stay, or when their usual caregivers travel out of town or simply need a short break. Short-term guests enjoy dining, housekeeping, activities and other amenities, as well as coordination of medical care and help with daily tasks. Stays can vary from a minimum of 30 days to months.

Assisted living residents are those who do not need skilled nursing care, but may need assistance with some aspects of daily life.  This can include personal care such as dressing and grooming, monitoring of health, safety, and overall well-being, coordination of outside health care providers, assistance with medication, companionship, and more.

Our assisted living residents at Heartlands Senior Living Village of Ellicott City live in their own private apartment within our community so that they have the support and services they need, while continuing to be as independent and active as possible.

Rehabilitation & Wellness

Heartlands Senior Living Village’s licensed nursing and rehabilitation staff works in tandem with your personal physician, ensuring that immediate health care needs are addressed.

Five Star Rehabilitation & Wellness is our provider of on-site physical and occupational therapy for Heartlands residents. Our highly experienced team of therapists, nursing and recreation professionals has developed a comprehensive approach to wellness management – maximizing the independence of our residents.

Along with good health, we believe wellness is living life to its fullest in all aspects of life: social, physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual. We call this total living. To achieve this, we have designed programs and services based on the total needs of our residents. Our WellStar programs include:
